Coatings for low temperature applications:
Coatings for low high temperature applications (<600°C):
Silica Fibres
High-quality silica fibres with high transmission efficiencies of different numerical apertures are available. All fibres can be packaged either as individual cables, bundles or as coherent bundles to meet your needs. Specialty metal coatings are available for high temperature operation.
UV Silica Fibres
Laser damage resistant UV silica fibres with transmission efficiencies higher than PCS fibres between 180-300nm. High core-to-clad ratios are available for use in high efficiency bundles. Specialty metal coatings are available for high temperature operation.
NIR Silica Fibres
Laser damage resistant NIR silica fibres with transmission efficiencies higher than PCS fibres between 1500-2600nm. Speciality metal coatings are available for high temperature operation.
Metal Coated Silica Fibres
Hermetically sealed Metal-Coated Silica (MCS) optical fibres have all the benefits of silica-silica fibres. MCS optical fibres remain stable in corrosive chemicals that normally react to silica glass. With an operating temperature range from -196°C to 600°C and a humidity range of up to 100%, MCS optical fibres are the optimum solution when used in high temperature, vacuum and harsh environmental conditions.
Graded Index Silica Fibres
Standard low loss, high bandwidth fibre optics for optical communication applications between 850-1300nm. Speciality metal coatings are available for high temperature operation.
High Power Silica Fibres
Assembled with innovative high power SMA connectors made with inner copper ferrules for free fibre end positioning. Capable of reliable high intensity laser power delivery in pulsed or CW mode below 1kW (CW).
Coherent Multi channel Fibre Optic Bundles
For use in multi-channel process spectroscopy applications, up to 37 discrete polymer of metal coated fibres can be selected to cover a spectral range from 250-2200nm.
Profile Cross Converter Spectroscopy Fibre Bundle
Manufactured from all silica fibre of a core/cladding size of 100/110µm this bundle converts 50 fibres in a circular bundle into a line slit for efficient coupling in spectroscopy applications.
