Immersion Probes

The Fibre Photonics ranges of fibre optic probes are manufactured from a range of corrosion and abrasion resistant materials. They are suitable for laboratory, pilot plant and in-process applications and are compatible with all types of spectrometers.

User selectable tip and shaft materials allow each probe to be customised to meet the needs of your application with a range of fibre materials that covers 0.18µm to 18µm (550cm-1 to 55550cm-1) and are suitable for many analytical chemistry applications including:

  • Reaction Monitoring
  • Crystallisation Development & Screening
  • Process Analytical Technology (PAT)
  • Analytical Characterisation
  • Biopharmaceutical Analysis
  • Biofuel Development & Production

Attenuated Total Reflection (ATR) Immersion Probe
A range of fibre optic ATR Immersion Probe for Process Spectroscopy applications. Sealed diamond or ZnSe tips provide high contrast evanescent absorption spectra in the temperature range 0-140°C.

Attenuated Total Reflection (ATR) Disposable Loop
PIR fibre probes in the 3-18µm range with detachable PIR fibre loops have been designed to provide a cost effective alternative to diamond ATR-IR fibre probes.

IRIS – 7 Reflection Probe (diffuse reflectance in the VIS – NIR)
A well established method in process analysis is the measurement of diffuse reflectance in the Vis- and NIR- range of materials, like powder or granulates. It introduces a measuring head with a variable measuring spot for the first time.
